I forgot to mention at David's 9 month appointment the doctor said it would be a good time to start transitioning him from the bottle to a sippy cup- feeding him formula in the sippy up until 1 year where he will then have real milk. I bought two sippy cups to try- an Avent one and a Nuby. I tried the avent and he rejected it big time. The Nuby had a softer spout- actually all silicone just like a bottle nipple. He drank from this one a little bit, but not much.
To be honest, I feel like he isn't ready for the sippy cup. What's the point in starting this early if I just feed it to him like a bottle anyway? Any body have any comments on when you started or plan on starting the sippy?
