Lily is 10 months! She is at such a fun age! She is all over the place crawling (which she started around 9 months). She has SIX teeth! (4 on top and 2 on bottom) She refuses any and all baby food and wants foods she can feed herself. She just loves to eat and will eat anything she can.
She loves David and calls him 'bruh-ba'. She also says 'mama' and she might be saying baby. She claps, stands on her own for a few seconds, and cruises the furniture like its nobody's business. She is active and into everything! She is so very curious! We had an injury right below her eye this past month with David's play chair that landed us in the ER. She had a black eye for several weeks, but she's ok!
Her current favorite thing to do is to crawl to the bathroom and bang on the bathroom door or pull up on the tub and attempt to crawl in. All day long its a b-line to that bathroom. Can you tell she loves a bath? She also enjoys chasing the cats, and has started to be a little bit more gentle with them.
I weaned her for various reasons at 9 months. After trying several formulas and considering many things, she is on a homemade goat's milk based formula. She likes it and is thriving on it. At 9 months she weighed 17.0 lbs (which was the 13%) and at 10 months she weighs 18lbs8ozs. Shes climbing that chart now that she is off my skim milk! She is also very very long for her age (96% at her 9 month check- 29.5").
She really is a happy, energetic, curious baby. She is so very interactive. We are so thankful to have her!
