We had a wonderful Christmas which included a visit from Zach's mom and stepdad and both Z and I went back to work this AM. David had a sick Christmas. First off, Sunday he seemed to be pulling on his ear and we took him to the doc and she said he never fully got rid of an ear infection from a few weeks back and thought it would be wise to put him on another antibiotic. Then, the night before Christmas Eve and even the night before that he had a rash on his tummy. We thought it was a reaction to egg at first because he's allergic to it (we thought maybe he had somehow eaten a cat treat). Well, we took him to the doctor and he said it was Roseola- a common childhood virus. The rash comes at the end of the virus and he actually is no longer contagious once he has the rash. So thankfully we were at the end of the virus. Well this weekend David was no longer sick but he did cut a mollar. Poor little man! Oh dear, he is writing on the couch with a pen- I need to go!
