Again?

David's been pulling and poking at his ear lately but we haven't thought anything of it because he kind of always does that. Well, today after church he just didn't seem right. He didn't want to play and I took his temperature and it was 102.5 the 1st time and 101.6 the 2nd (rectal). So, we took him to his doctor's office-which has amazing after hours- and sure enough he has a double ear infection. The doctor mentioned it was possible since his last one was only a couple weeks back he never fully got over that one. She did mention possibly seeing an ENT specialist to discuss tubes, but I would like to hold off on that... we'll see.

In other notes, whenever we say Christmas David points at the tree which we think is cute because we didn't teach him that. Also, when we say poo poo he pats his bottom. In the past couple of weeks his vocabulary has greatly expanded, though a lot of his words are still hard to understand. He also finally started using mama and dada. He before would make 'ma' and 'da' sounds but never use them appropriately. Now, he says it and points at one of us. A couple of times he got confused and called me dada. When he is in a good mood, you can say to him 'David say XXX' and he will try to repeat whatever word you told him to say.
