Sadly, my grandpa passed away this week. We know he is in heaven now and not suffering anymore. He was buried in the same veteran lot with Grandma in Virginia. Unfortunately we couldn't afford to go to his funeral. David went and visited him in the nursing home near my parents this year around Christmas and Grandpa really liked David- even though he was out of it he reached out his hands and wanted to hold him. I'm glad David got to meet him.
